Rita Bailey

Regent

As founder of QVF Partners, Ltd. (Quality, Value, Fun), Rita Bailey works with organizations and individuals who are serious about creating people-focused cultures and relationships. She shares her expertise and resources to help organizations create environments where people are encouraged to do and be their best. She passionately believes that every workplace can be a positive place to work. As an international speaker and consultant, she has presented to groups in Europe, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia on topics including people success strategies, leadership, innovation, culture, branding, and customer service. In her former position as Director of Southwest Airlines' University for People, she and her team focused on leadership, career development, and professional/personal programs for over 32,000 employees. During her 24 years with Southwest, Rita held several positions all of which related to employee development. Before Southwest Airlines, Rita received a business degree from the University of Texas, El Paso.

Wes Blair

Managing Director

Wes Blair concentrates on transforming small- to medium-sized businesses, typically sponsored by private equity. In addition to his role as a Stagen Visiting Fellow, he currently serves as COO of PrimeSource FSE, Inc., a former Pepsi division now owned by the North Texas Opportunity Fund. Highlights of Wes’s career include: general manager of a US division of Aggreko, plc during their turnaround; Sr. VP of Sales, Marketing & Delivery for MigraTEC, Inc., a venture-backed software company; a senior executive in several roles during the turnaround of Amtran, Inc.; a Sr. Manager for Bain & Company, Inc. in their turnaround practice, where he participated in the turnaround of Continental Airlines. Wes graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Mathematical Economic Analysis from Rice University.

Nathanael Chawkin

Executive Coach

Nathanael Chawkin integrates 20 years of meditation and spiritual study with 15 years of teaching and training martial arts. With the development of self awareness and a calm, assertive leadership presence, clients discover new insights that present new choices and inform new, more intentional actions. He has coached executives at Xerox and Stored IQ, facilitated classes on embodied leadership, Integral Life Practice, and self-defense & personal empowerment. He also served for two years as the director of a traditional live-in apprenticeship program in Aikido. He earned his BA (classical piano) from Maharishi University of Management and is certified as a coach through JFKU where he also completed his MA in Integral Psychology. He is a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido, and a purple belt, medal winning competitor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Nathanael lives and practices in Austin, Texas.

Marsha Clark is an independent consultant who founded Marsha Clark & Assoc. in 2000. As an organizational development consultant, Marsha has led efforts in the areas of change management, leadership development, performance management, executive coaching, meeting facilitation, and keynote speaking. Clients have included Accenture, BMC Software, Bell Helicopter, JP Morgan Chase, Fidelity Investments, IBM, Microsoft, and Texas Instruments. Before becoming an independent consultant, Marsha was a corporate vice president for EDS. During almost 21 years with EDS, she served as an assistant to the chief operating officer, working in the areas of strategic alliances, performance management, and account operations improvement. Before that role, she directed the EDS Employee Development program. Marsha has a master of science degree in organizational development from American University in Washington, D.C.

Vid Deva

Executive Coach

Vid Deva is an integral awareness and spiritual coach to executives and business leaders. He also works closely with the Stagen Leadership Institute Research and Development team pioneering new integral practice designs and methodologies. Vid is a coach and facilitator who is deeply studied and practiced in both Eastern and Western disciplines and wisdom traditions, and has extensive training in the areas of internal and external martial arts (including qi gong), as well as various exercise and fitness modalities including experience with such renowned teachers as Ron Sieh and former Soviet Special Forces instructor Pavel Tsatsouline. Vid brings more than a decade of formal training in Soto Zen and was ordained a Zen priest in 1999. He is a recognized teacher with Integral Spiritual Center and works closely with Ken Wilber and other senior spiritual teachers, including the leaders of many of the world’s religious traditions (Zen, Contemplative Christianity, Kabbalah, etc.). Vid has taught university classes and workshops on awareness, spirituality, and world wisdom traditions, and serves communities as a consultant and speaker at high schools, religious organizations, and prisons. Rounding out his comprehensive approach to human performance, he recently completed a 3-year certification program in Asian and Western bodyworking modalities.

John Forman

Senior Fellow

For more than 15 years, John Forman has advised organizational leadership and management in areas ranging from change management and executive coaching to strategic planning, organizational development, cultural diversity, and complex communications issues. John is particularly knowledgeable about the role of organizational culture and values and the many ways in which people make meaning of their work lives. His work has been included in the curriculum of graduate-level classes at the University of Washington and the National Defense University, where he has been a guest lecturer, and he has led numerous physician, executive, and private retreats. John is a founding member of the Integral Institute, where he leads one of the Institute's core teams. John holds a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Washington.

Phil Gable

Phil Gable is Stagen’s most tenured coach and has been a professional communicator and educator in various fields for over three decades. His lifelong passion for communication led him first to advertising, then to mediation (he is a Certified Professional Mediator), and finally to coaching. He has over 25 years in the marketing communications field. He helped numerous blue chip firms achieve their marketing communications goals, including DuPont, Sun Information Services, Armstrong Floors, and Gore-Tex. As a Certified Professional Mediator, Phil has logged hundreds of hours in the field and has developed a series of conflict resolution courses. Phil is also a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. For the past 12 years he has studied and trained intensely in various monasteries and Zen centers around the country. Phil lives in Austin, Texas with his wife.

Dottie Gandy

Dottie Gandy is an author, speaker, and facilitator with over 25 years of experience. She has been a featured speaker at the PCMA National Conference, the International Association of Business Communicators, HR Southwest, ASTD, and many others. In June 2001, Simon and Schuster published Dottie's book, 30 Days to a Happy Employee: How a Simple Program of Acknowledgment Can Build Trust and Loyalty at Work. Dottie was regional director for the Franklin Covey Company in Dallas for six years. During this time, she worked with organizations on the integration and implementation of programs and services based on Dr. Stephen R. Covey's principles made famous by his best-selling books, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Principle-Centered Leadership. An avid supporter of women in business, Dottie is a co-founder of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Dottie is a native Texan, with a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Baylor University.

Mark Hess

Senior Consultant

As the founder of Hess Advisory, Mark Hess specializes in providing strategy and business development advisory services to small and medium sized companies across a range of industries. Mark has over 15 years of experience helping companies reach their full potential, both in the short term and the long term. Prior to concentrating on small to medium sized businesses, Mark’s career included the role of VP of Strategy and Business Development for GES Exposition Services, a large marketing services organization, and Sr. Manager for Bain & Company in their turnaround practice and technology practice. While at Bain, Mark participated in large corporate turnarounds in the computer, communications, airline and consumer products industries. Mark graduated with a degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Paul Landraitis

Paul Landraitis has 20 years of experience applying integrative approaches to achieve individual and organizational change. In the past 15 years, he has been applying integral methods to training therapists, building the interpersonal skillfulness of executives, helping managers respond to "critical incidents" in the workplace, and guiding organizational change efforts. For Paul, the common thread in all these activities is an irrepressible enthusiasm for understanding how human beings can overcome roadblocks to actualizing their potential. As a key member of the Integral Institute's core business leadership team, Paul is an expert at the advanced applications of integral theory. His work in the business sector of the health care market, together with wide-ranging clinical practice, gives him unsurpassed insights into organizational psychology. Paul holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wesleyan University and a master's degree in Buddhism and western clinical psychology from Naropa University.

Tim Larkin

Tim Larkin is a Master Combat Instructor whose research and perfection of effective fighting methods have been a lifelong passion. Tim served as a special warfare Intelligence officer for the Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, namely the admiral in charge of all SEAL teams. Uniquely proficient at teaching these concepts to both Special Operations operatives and civilians, Tim now uses his Target-Focus. Training, a program based on his more than 20 years of research and experience, to provide a broad range of nonmilitary clients with highly effective combat-based training for their everyday protection. In addition, since leaving active duty in 1991, he has provided hand-to-weapon instruction to the most elite members of various military, law enforcement, and corporate special operations/security units. While he has a long list of CEOs and VIPs, as well as celebrities who demand confidentiality, following is a partial list of some of the organizations, units, and corporations who have utilized his TFT training: U.S. Navy SEAL teams, SEAL Team Six, and U.S. Army Special Forces.

Keith Lewis

Keith Lewis is an entrepreneur and life long learner at heart. Keith is founder of To Point B, a training, facilitation and executive coaching organization based in Austin, Texas with a focus on blended learning that mixes classroom and coaching time with on the job application. Keith’s business experience comes from a variety of sources. As a senior consultant in Change Management with Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), Keith cultivated his knowledge in organization development, corporate culture and organizational communication. Keith also contributed to the growth of Eagle’s Flight, a global experiential training company, as a Vice President of Business Development. While managing a sales team in Austin, Keith added over $3.5 million in sales and delivered hundreds of programs. Keith earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Northwestern University, received a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Texas, and is a graduate of Corporate Coach University. Keith is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (founder of the Collaborative Consultant special interest group) and the International Coach Federation. Greg Magennis

Leadership Academy Practice Lead

Greg Magennis is the Practice Lead for the Stagen Leadership Academy based out of Dallas Texas. Stagen is a management consulting firm that specializes in strategy, execution, and leadership development. In his role, Greg is responsible for the marketing & growth of the Academy while working closely with its delivery teams who comprise consultants, facilitators, executive coaches, a project management office, and faculty. Stagen partners with mid-market companies throughout North America to create Next-Level Results and sustained high performance.

Prior to joining Stagen in January of 2009, Greg started his career in South Africa, in January 1990, as a Product Manager with National Brands Limited and with SmithKline Beecham Consumer Brands. After immigrating to Canada in August 1994 Greg helped build the Canadian division of Thomas International, a Human Resource Consulting firm, and in 1999 was promoted to Vice President & General Manager. In May of 2003, Greg founded Axiom Management Systems Ltd. and in September 2003 opened the United States division of Axiom based out of Dallas Texas. Greg was responsible, as President, for managing Axiom’s initiatives in North America. He now sits on the Axiom Advisory Board.

LeeAnn Mallory

LeeAnn Mallory brings 20 years of experience working with mid-market and Fortune 500 companies as an internal and external consultant, executive coach and business analyst. She currently leads Stagen’s coaching team and oversees the delivery of leadership programs. She is committed to developing those who will lead their organizations with courage & humility and deliver outstanding results to all stakeholders. LeeAnn’s style of coaching and facilitating fully engages the whole person. She excels in thinking systemically, creating structures that support sustainable results and crafting environments where groups can work together to achieve collective goals. LeeAnn is certified in Integral and Somatic coaching through New Ventures West, Strozzi Institute, and in various 360 and other assessment tools. She holds a BA in Sociology/Social Studies and resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband and their two daughters.

Michael McElhenie

Dr. Michael McElhenie has over twenty years of leadership and consulting experience, and currently runs Metatropia Institute, a leadership development and change management firm in Dallas, Texas. A key area of Michael’s expertise is in helping leaders assess the current, dynamic, holistic state of their organization, uncover the mission-aligned optimal state, and begin the steps to bridge the gap between the two through intentional, resonant leadership and constructive dialogue. Throughout his career, Michael has designed and led major leadership, executive coaching, change and learning projects for global and national clients, including American Airlines, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, H&R Block, Johnson & Johnson, Sabre, World Bank and YMCA. Additionally, he led major humanitarian projects for the United Nations in regions around the globe: Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. Michael received his doctorate in Organizational, Clinical and Experimental Psychology from the University of North Texas, and his Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Neuroscience from the University of Florida. Bert Parlee, Ph.D.

Dr Parlee is a licensed clinical psychologist and an executive and personal life coach. While living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Bert is a founding partner of Integral Development Associates, a management consultation firm in Seattle. Bert also serves as Chief of Staff at Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute in Colorado, where he also works as a large group trainer and facilitator. He has facilitated and co-trained with Don Beck at Spiral Dynamics seminars and teaches at the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame University in Indiana, as well as for the Organizational Psychology Coaching program at John F. Kennedy University in Pleasanton, California. Bert honored in Political Science from the University of New Brunswick in 1977, and has a MA in contemplative psychotherapy from Naropa University, 1984. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, 1993.

Shawn Phillips began sharing his expertise on training, nutrition, and supplementation by helping his brother, Bill Phillips (author of the number one New York Times best seller Body-for-LIFE), write articles and develop programs. Shawn has appeared on numerous magazine covers, and photos of his physique have been featured in over 100 magazine articles. Shawn was also a key member of the original team that helped build EAS into the world's leading performance-nutrition company. In late 1999, Shawn set out to develop Nutros.com, a one-of-a-kind Internet site that allows people to research, design, and develop their own customized vitamin and nutritional supplement programs around their specific needs and fitness goals.

Leslie Ritter

Leslie Ritter is an executive coach with expertise human resource strategy, strategy execution, outsourcing and merger integration. Her coaching clients include CEO’s and senior leaders of primarily middle market companies. In a human resource capacity, Leslie has performed more than 15 acquisition integrations from due-diligence to integration. Her merger experience encompasses integration strategy and planning, benefit plan redesign/termination, policy development, and HRIS systems integration. Leslie has also performed organizational culture assessments to close the gap of the merged companies. A graduate of Marietta College, Leslie has a BS degree in Industrial Engineering Management, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Leslie also attended Harvard Business School’s program on Leading Professional Services Firms. She has served as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business. She is an active member of the Dallas Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors and recently attended the NACD’s Director Finance Course.

Neal Shah

Neal Shah is a senior consultant with Stagen and an entrepreneur. He graduated Cum Laude, from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor or Arts in International Relations. Neal received his MBA from The Jones School of Business, Rice University in 2004. Neal worked as a strategy consultant for Bain & Company in the Dallas Office. He worked in a number of industries including retail, manufacturing, and airlines. His work experience included a wide range of projects including growth strategies, capability sourcing, merger integration, and IT strategy. Prior to Bain, Neal worked as an analyst at Stern Stewart and Company in the retail practice. He also worked as an entrepreneur starting a small consulting business, the Novora Group, and an electronic medical record company, MedOnTime, which he subsequently sold to CSGI. When out of the office, Neal enjoys golf, tennis, reading and traveling.

Lisa Stefan

Lisa Stefan has over 15 years of experience working in the government, insurance, and pharmaceutical sectors. Lisa excels at working with high performers that are looking to bring themselves or their businesses to the next level. Prior to coaching, she worked as a senior director with Sepracor, Inc., a research-based pharmaceutical company. While there, she created a development program for her direct reports and coached her team to an unprecedented 70% promotion rate during a sales force expansion. At the same time, she was responsible for the growth of a multi-million dollar sales region that spanned from Alaska to Arizona. Lisa also managed large-scale hiring events as the company grew from 150 to nearly 2,000 sales representatives. Her experience includes developing and facilitating training for the entire sales force and management team, creation of systems and processes to manage large-scale growth, and presenting to large audiences at National Sales Meetings. Currently, she coaches and trains clients across multiple industries and specializes in management, leadership, and communication skills. She holds a B.A. in Communication and Spanish and lives in Scottsdale with her husband, Jim.

Rick specializes in executive coaching and senior level leadership development. Cindy Wigglesworth

As founder and owner of Conscious Pursuits, Inc., Cindy Wigglesworth bridges a solid business background with her passionate beliefs about the importance of integrating our spiritual and work lives. Her prior work experience includes 20+ years in human resources management for ExxonMobil Corporation, most notably, organizational design, effectiveness, and workforce/culture issues, executive coaching, performance improvement, training development, and delivery and global training strategy. Cindy is chair of the Selection Committee for the 2003 Willis Harman Spirit at Work Awards and is a member of the Association for Spirit at Work . She is also a founding member of Spirit in Business. With Larry Stockman she co-authored (as Cynthia S. Graves) Grown-Up Children Who Won't Grow Up. Cindy holds dual bachelor of arts degree in English and education (magna cum laude) and a masters of arts in political science from Duke University.

Fritzi Woods

Fritzi Woods is Chairman and CEO of Primesource Foodservice Equipment, Inc, the nation’s 10th largest foodservice equipment company with over $100 million in revenue. Prior to joining Primesource, Fritzi was the CFO and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Dallas Morning News. She is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), the Women Corporate Directors, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Within her community, Fritzi is a Trustee of both the Parkland Hospital Foundation Board and the Southwest Medical Foundation. She has also devoted her time to several other community based organizations. Fritzi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a CPA. She participated in Duke University’s Executive Development Program and she is a graduate of Stagen’s Integral Leadership Program (ILP). Fritzi resides with her husband, Timothy, and their five children in Dallas, Texas.

Mark Youngblood

Mark Youngblood has worked with senior executives for over 20 years to create sustainable breakthroughs in their organizations performance. Mark has a broad-based consulting experience with an emphasis on executive coaching, leadership development, and cultural transformation. Mark specializes in helping companies create organizational agility a competitive necessity in today's fast-paced, complex, and uncertain economy. Mark's experience includes three years with CSC's Strategic Services Group, five years owning his own consulting firm, and six years with Price Waterhouse's Management Consulting Services. Mark has also been an internal consultant at a major oil company and a high-tech credit services firm and served as chief information officer for Micrografx, Inc. Mark's client's span practically every industry, and recent clients include MBNA, Motorola, Sabre, Senco Products, DuPont, State Street Bank, Mobil Oil Corporation, and the Ontario Lottery Corporation.
